The use and maintenance of CNC punching machines
In addition to a reasonable mold structure, high precision, good heat treatment effect, and correct selection and installation accuracy of punches, the correct use, maintenance, and upkeep of molds cannot be ignored.
(1) Before installing and using the mold, it is necessary to strictly check for dust and whether the guide sleeve and mold are lubricated.
(2) Regularly inspect the press and mold seat to ensure the coaxiality accuracy of the upper and lower turntables.
(3) Install the mold on the turntable, ensuring that the mold direction is consistent with the mold, especially the mold (non-circular, square) should be designed more carefully in the expected direction.
(4) After installing the mold, check if the fixing screws are locked.
(5) The edge grinding of the press, the grinding of the press, and the grinding of the press rapidly expand the wear of the press, accelerate the wear of the press, reduce the stamping quality, and shorten the service life of the press.
(6) Spare parts should be used to ensure the rotation and production requirements of commonly used molds in large-scale production.
(7) Stamping personnel should use soft metals (such as copper, aluminum, etc.) to make operating tools to prevent damage to the mold during installation.
(8) During transportation, the mold should be handled with care and garbage should be thrown at will to avoid damaging the edges and direction of the mold.
(9) After using the mold, it should be promptly returned to the designated location to prevent rusting.
(10) In order to ensure the service life of the mold, the mold spring should be replaced regularly to prevent fatigue damage to the spring and affect the use of the mold.
Common problems in the use of stamping molds.
In order to meet production needs, molds or special molds are usually required, such as bridge molds, blind molds, main molds, hole molds, stamping molds, pulling molds, and combination molds. Special or molded molds can greatly improve productivity, but molds are more expensive. The cost of molds is usually 4-5 times higher than that of ordinary molds. To avoid mistakes, we should pay attention to the following principles:
(1) Check the installation direction of the mold to ensure consistency.
(2) Adjust the stamping depth of the mold as needed, not exceeding once.
